This website collects personal information only when you choose to give it. If you submit a volunteer application we record your name, email address, telephone number, age, area of interest and the CV you attach. If you propose a partnership we record your organisation, contact details and your proposal. If you write to us through the contact form we record your name, email address and message. If you donate we record your name and the contact details needed to issue a receipt.

Applications and donor details are stored encrypted, and any document you upload is stored outside the public area of this website where it cannot be reached by a web address. Volunteer and partnership applications are kept for up to twelve months. Payment card details are never handled by NDF: donations are processed by the payment provider on their own secure pages.

You can ask NDF to show you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by writing to [email protected]. We will action a request unless we are required to keep a record — for example, a donation receipt that has to be retained for financial reporting.
