Welcome to Nkemjika Development Foundation, where compassion meets action.
Driven by a passion for humanity, Nkemjika Development Foundation is dedicated to social welfare, charity, and humanitarian work. Our commitment to creating a positive change is manifested through various initiatives, including sensitisation programs, workshops, skill acquisition training, and more.
Primary Focus
- Educational Grants/Scholarships: Empowering the next generation through educational opportunities.
- Illicit Drugs Sensitisation: Combating drug abuse through awareness and education.
- Donations for Flood Victims: Providing relief to those affected by natural disasters.
- Small Business Grants: Fostering entrepreneurship for sustainable community development.
- Provisions of Female Sanitary: Addressing basic needs for women’s health and hygiene.
Geographical Presence: Currently operating in Imo State, we aim to extend our reach to neighbouring states, starting with Abia, Rivers, Anambra, and gradually expanding across the entire South East of Nigeria.
Achievements
Nkemjika Development Foundation have proudly sponsored 240 students through primary, secondary, and university education. We have also contributed millions of naira in grants and relief materials as well as provided sustenance to over 8,000 people. Our daily morning show on Boss Radio serves as a platform to advocate against domestic violence and drug abuse, reaching the entire South East of Nigeria.
Future Vision
As we grow, our vision includes expanding our operations to neighbouring states and gradually covering the entire South East of Nigeria. Plans are underway to introduce Medical Outreach programs to further contribute to the well-being of communities in need.

HISTORY
Established in 2006 by Evang. Michael Obinna Ikoku in memory of Apostle Ruben Nkemjika Ikoku Ikpoh, Nkemjika Development Foundation has swiftly evolved into a force for positive change.
Rooted in a passion for humanity, our journey began with sensitisation programs and skill acquisition. Over the years, our focus expanded to include educational grants, illicit drug sensitisation, and impactful initiatives like flood relief and small business grants.
Looking ahead, we aim to improve the quality of life of all Imo State citizens. From our heartfelt beginning to a promising future, Nkemjika Development Foundation remains dedicated to making a positive impact, one compassionate initiative at a time.
Nkemjika Development Foundation is Officially Registered with Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission and Started Full Operations in 2006.
Flood Relieve Outreach (2023)
In the wake of devastating floods that left the community of Oguta in Imo State grappling with loss and hardship, Nkemjika Development Foundation stood tall in solidarity responded swiftly providing crucial aid. Our flood relief outreach included clothing, food, and medication, offering immediate support to families grappling with displacement.
VISION
Empowering 100,000 lives through sustainable development is our guiding vision at Nkemjika Development Foundation. We envision a future where every individual has the tools and opportunities to lead a dignified life, creating a positive ripple effect across communities.
MISSION
At Nkemjika Development Foundation, our mission is to provide educational opportunities for 10,000 individuals, conduct 500 sensitisation programs, and address critical social issues affecting 50 communities. Through tangible initiatives, we aim to make a lasting impact on the lives we touch, fostering positive change in the areas that need it the most.
